Performance Horses

Obviously Not Blonde
(Obvious Doc X Docta Ruth)

The chestnut mare pictured above is AQHA mare Obviously Not Blonde. "Blondie" is a 1999 mare that is my western pleasure
and hunter under saddle horse. This mare has lovely conformation, a great personality & temperament,
and lovely movement! She's a joy to ride. Blondie and I placed 6th in Ladies Horsemanship
and 5th in Ladies English Equitation at Georgia Federation State in 2006.

Sassys Cross Tie
(Cross Tie Walker X Sassy Savannah)

Sassy is a wonderful mare. She and I are learning together. We have earned a lot in the past few years
and we hope to continue to excell. She has earned both youth and open performance ROMs. I have earned
AQHA Justin Rookie of the Year, 1st in Arena Race at the Georgia Federation State Show and also at the Georgia State 4-H Show,
3rd in Cloverleaf Barrels and the Georgia Federation's State Show, two trips to Congress to compete for
Horseman's Quarter Horse Association in the NYATT Competition, a trip to the 4-H Southern Regionals Horse Show,
and more on this mare. As I said, she's wonderful, and she puts a lot of heart into pleasing me (usually).
We traveled to Fort Worth, TX for the AQHYA World show in both 2003 and 2004. In 2005 at the
Georgia Federation State Show we placed second in arena race, losing 1st place by .004 of a second.
In 2006 we moved up to the Ladies division at State and we won Arena race and placed 4th in the Cloverleaf Barrels.

Double Springs Sunflower

Please visit the Dartmoor Stallion page for more information on Battle and his future.

Thistledown Juniper

Juniper is a 1998 Dartmoor mare by *Wilby Viceroy and out of *Corn Poppy.
She is a WONDERFUL kids pony and has been very useful in our lesson program. She has a lovely disposition
and is as easy going as a pony can get! We also have her filly, pictured below, by MBR Prince Valiant.
Juniper will be spending this year as a broodmare. Juniper's 2008 foal by *S. R. Mountain Battle
is Blue Heron Lilac, and she is owned by Barbara Ferrer.

MBR Laurel

Laurel is a 2003 Dartmoor mare. She is by MBR Prince Valiant (Cruachan Valentine X Farnley Lady Fair)

really nice movement. She is broken to ride and is a show pony for my niece.

New South Swales Precocious

"Tally" is a 2004 Dartmoor filly by *Shilstone Rocks Snowshoes and out of Pippy Valentine. I look forward to this filly's

Tally drives and is learning to ride. Fingers crossed, Tally should be in foal for spring 2009.

Singletree Hank Cinq

Macs Party Punkin

Punkin is a 2002 AQHA registered mare by Obvious Modern Mac and out of Partys Punkin Pie.
She has good bloodlines, and she's a lovely mover with nice conformation.

Sixums Moon

Moon is a 2002 AQHA registered mare out of Top A Charge and by Deep Sixum. She is a new barrel prospect
for me to work with. I will not be training her on barrels for a while though. I want her to have the basics down first,
so we will be working on some dressage things until she's ready for the barrels. This mare is extremely calm and excellent on trails.

Macs Bit O Honey

"Lil Bit" is a 3 year old AQHA/ PHBA Incentive Fund registered gelding. He has a lovely quiet disposition.

A Few Past Performance Horses of Blue Heron Farm:

Mystery Party

"Lady" is an AQHA mare that is trained and has AQHA points in barrels and poles. She is out of TRS Misty Lady and sired by Party Dry.
This mare has a very nice, quiet attitude. She has taught lots of kids about barrel racing because she is so easy going and easy to handle.
Her foal from Obvious Modern Mac 2002 proves that both Mac and Lady's dispositions are quiet and easy going. Lady is a registered
Foundation Quarter Horse mare at 87% Foundation blood. This mare's 2002 foal belongs to a couple who plan on using him as a
trail horse for a beginner rider. Lady was bred to Obvious Modern Mac for a 2004 foal, Macs Bit O Honey who can be seen on the show horses link.

Lady is now at a new home teaching kids to barrel race.

MC Sailor

Sailor is a 2002 Dartmoor gelding. He is out of Tatey (*Cruachan Valentine X Farnley Bunting)
and by Pumphill Maverick. He is very sweet and a wonderful pony. Sailor is a wonderful child's pony!
He is a perfect example of the solidness of the Dartmoor mind and temperament! Sailor continues
to show in both pleasure classes and barrel racing with Addison Ethridge.

Calculation

This is by far my favorite jumper. Cal is an awesome Thoroughbred gelding that had more heart than any horse
I've ever had the pleasure of owning. He was so sweet and would never refuse! He is with a lady near Alpharetta, GA in
semi-retirement. Cal was also a key ingredient in 2001 to my English Equitation Championship at the
Georgia Federation of Saddle Clubs State Show. I got him through Barry Lane.
Both Cal and Barry as well as her mother Nancy taught me a great deal about horses, jumping, and just life in general.

Senator

This is Senator. I owned this guy as a 3 year old and 4 year old before selling him to this lady. I broke and
taught him basic dressage principles. He has a wonderful sweet disposition. He is doing fantastic in the dressage arena.
This picture was taken at a USDF/USEF
dressage show and he scored a 62 under an I judge. The class was won at a 62.5.
Senator placed second. He scored a 9 on his movement! We are SO proud of him!

Pistols Sandy Doc

This is Sandy. I got her from my best friend, rode her on barrels for a while, put her in foal to
Obvious Modern Mac, and sold her to a girl wanting to ride barrels. She has a gorgeous foal, Riddler.
