    Training   

Our training program includes both horses and ponies. We specialize in training ponies. Usually there are some ponies/ horses for sale. Due to the lack of pony trainers in the area, please let us know as soon as you can if you would like to send us a pony! Breaking is also available. Prices include pasture board with feeding twice a day (hay as needed) and training. Call or email for full or partial board prices. Our training includes lots of groundwork and preparation to ensure that each horse/ pony does not have any gaps in his foundation. We should have a few more ponies for sale in the spring and possibly before then. Feel free to contact us if you're looking for a pony, and we'll be happy to look for one for you if we do not have what you need! We are currently full.

As you look through our site, please take note that all of the Dartmoors we own have been broken on our farm. The Dartmoors make wonderful kids ponies and are great for adults as well. They excel in many different disciplines from jumping and barrel racing to carriage driving. These tuff and sturdy ponies are cute movers and family oriented with kind temperaments and a willing attitude.

Mujiir and MC Sailor

MC Skippy & Thistledown Juniper

Skippy is pictured on the left; Thistledown Juniper is on the right. I have broken both of these extraordinary ponies. Look for MC Skippy on the For Sale page and look for Juniper's future foals from Mountain Battle!

MC Sailor

I have broken and trained Sailor. He continues to prove to be a wonderful kid pony. Please look at the Show Horses page for more info on Sailor.

Yosemite Sam

Sam is a 5 year old brown and white paint gelding. He is 10 hands tall (40in). He is an awesome kids pony. I broke this pony before he went to be a mount for some kids. Very sweet pony!

Scamper is one of the ponies I bought and sold. He is a 1998 black and white paint gelding. Scamper is 12 hands (48 in.) tall and a sweetheart! Very sweet pony; who was walking, trotting, cantering, and going over small crossrails when he left. He went to a 5 yr old girl and is doing wonderful.

Breezeway Cap'n Crunch is a Dartmoor pony gelding that I put miles on, started on jumps, trails, and canter work as a 2 and 3 yr old. He is on kid duty in two of the pics above; the third pic is of some round pen work. For more info. on Dartmoors go to http://www.dartmoorpony.com .

"Jonesy" is a Welsh pony that I put a few miles on before he left to be a driving pony.

"Katie" is a pony that I broke and started on jumps. This pony has been resold her to a family in Sandersville, GA. 

This is Beatrice. She is a half Dartmoor pony. I broke and trained her. She is such a sweet pony and is in North Carolina currently.

Cupid is a pony that I bought and worked with before reselling to this girl. He is pictured at the top of this page after grooming.
